Three Wishes

In a time of prosperity and whole happy families Jeaane Holman (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) and her two sons Tom and Gunny (Joseph Mazello and Seth Mumy) are different. Jeanne's husband is missing in the Korean War and without him they are doing the best they can. But one day while driving with her children Jeanne runs into a drifter Jack McCloud (Patrick Swayze) an event that will change their live s forever. Jeanne invites the injured stranger and hi s dog Betty Jane into her home for a brief recuperation but before long the whole family find themselves wanting him to stay. The Holman family soon discovers that there is far more to Jack than meets the eye. - and he brings more to their home than just his scruffy four-legged friend. For Jeanne and her children are about too discover the magic that comes with the kindness of helping a stranger and what could be captured by just three wishes!

This movie is simply wonderful. It has so many different elements that all come together to give the viewer a mystical/spiritual experience with a WOW. Acting is superb!especially Patrick Swayze and Joseph Mazzello. Hard to know why this movie didn't do better at the box office-probably lack of publicity/marketing. If you want a quality movie with substance that will leave you thinking/feeling for quite some time after you have seen it, this is the movie! -- AWESOME!
well i know it is an import because on the back it is all different langauge and it starts out like that when the movie first starts
i give it 4 stars because if it was from american made dvd then i would have given this 5 stars
i have to go back to the main menu just to start the movie off in english boo
patrick is a great actor and his roles in his films from a A list to being a be list movie star he will always be a A list moive star to me what great roles
